Dear Sybersue,
I am enjoying my dating life at the moment but I am still unsure whether my conversations are a bit too much sometimes. If I like a woman I compliment her and tell her things like I am attracted to her, enjoy her sense of humor, and tell her I would like to see her again…etc.
I am not into playing games and want to be honest from the first date!
Is this OK or should I be pulling back more and keep her guessing? I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing what you have to say!

How to make a guy fall in love with you.
First off, I don’t believe in making someone do anything. Okay? But I will tell you about men is, we love the chase. Okay?
In my book ‘The Relationships Men Commit to and Why,’ I have a whole chapter devoted to what I call the love pie. So I want you to imagine a relationship like a big pie. Okay? I cut that pie in half. You do your half, he does his half. But, take a little bit away from that half. That one percent, so he’s always kind of chasing you. The best way for a man to fall in love with you, is when he’s coming towards you versus you coming towards him.
I don’t think you should make a man fall in love with you. He should naturally want to do it, because of your fantastic essence, of who you are. So forcing a man to do anything, rarely ever works. Okay? But men do like the chase. They like to come to you, and really, ultimately, he will fall in love with you, if he’s making the effort versus you doing all the work.
Let me tell you, if you’re forcing the relationship, that’s a warning sign that this relationship isn’t going to work. Relationships that flow are the relationships that last a lifetime, but if you’re making all the effort, and if you’re doing all the work, chances are he isn’t going to fall in love with you. It should be a natural balance, but give him and allow him the space to come to you. That’s the way men fall in love with you.

What is your biggest fear? That you will make a fool of yourself, probably. The longer you wait to talk to her, the more you will feel anxiety about the conversation. And honestly, she probably knows you are nervous, and either she will help you and make you feel more comfortable, or she will dismiss you as a nervous idiot! And if she does that, you don’t want to date her anyway! The person you want to date will understand this is a nerve-wracking situation and will want to go out with you anyway!
